Bethany Hynes is a stunning soprano who recently completed her undergraduate degree at the MUN School of Music as a student of Dr. Jane Leibel. This gifted young artist teams up for the first time with me for a gorgeous and varied program of love songs for everyone, including beautiful works by Aaron Copland, Roger Quilter, Gabriel Faure, and a fabulous selection from musical theatre and Disney! Featuring our special guest, baritone Patrick Edison, this will be a fun, casual concert perfect for the whole family. You won't want to miss Bethany's engaging stage presence and, of course, her stunning voice in her first professional performance.

For the fourth consecutive year, Newman Sound reaches out to our beautiful elderly residents and their families in a day of old-fashioned love songs. We will be performing at three seniors homes including St. Luke's and two others to be determined soon. It's a heartwarming day for everyone, including the singers. In lieu of admission, we gratefully accept donations to Newman Sound to enable us to continue to perform both in Newfoundland and abroad. We are honoured to present this special community event and welcome your support.

Two of Canada's finest choirs, Newfoundland's own Newman Sound Men's Choir and Lady Cove Women's Choir, join forces for the spectacular "Vespers", the 1915 masterpiece of Sergei Rachmaninoff. Praised as his finest achievement and the greatest musical achievement of the Russian Orthodox Church, this spectacular performance will be a choir highlight of the year.

This spectacular annual tradition continues: Three of the finest ensembles in Newfoundland join forces for a night of the best jazz and pop music you will hear anywhere!
